Sponsor A Dog
Thanks for clicking! Below you can find the dogs available for sponsorship!

Each dog costs the shelter around 45 euros every month that they're in the shelter and we are taking in new arrivals all the time. These costs do not include emergency vet bills. Please help us by giving what you can on to cover these costs. That way we can take in new dogs off the street or rescue them from horrible living conditions. Every dog deserves a happy life in their forever home. Thank you so much for visiting our website and for supporting us in our mission.

Milas
Milas is 1 year old and has been at the shelter since he was found in the middle of the road all by himself when he was just a baby. He has a very long nose which gives him a cartoon-like face! Milas loves people, he has a sweet and soft personality and is very affectionate. Like all our dogs, he can't wait to get to his forever home! Can you sponsor him until he gets there?
Milas loves to be naughty; if you choose him then expect updates like videos of him emptying out the newly filled water buckets with a cheeky look on his face while he's splashing around in the water!

Max
Max came to us after his owner passed away, and no one in the family wanted to keep him. Blind and completely dependent on others to navigate the world, , Max is one of the most affectionate and gentle dogs in our care. He loves people, responds joyfully to the sound of his name, and will come straight over for cuddles. He enjoys his walks, exploring the world through smell and sound, and spends the rest of his time napping peacefully on his favorite blanket. If you sponsor Max, expect heart-melting updates of him soaking up affection, tail wagging, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Skylar
Skylar arrived in the Melez shelter as a tiny puppy of only a few months old. She had been living on the streets all by herself when she was hit by a car and broke her leg.
Skylar grew up in the Melez shelter and grew into a beautiful, sweet dog. She is a very gentle dog, with a sweet temperament and a soft nature. Skylar is very sweet and friendly towards people, and loves getting attention. This sweet girl loves nothing more than playing with her kennel mates! One thing Skylar loves to do is play with toys, so much so, that she steals toys from the other dogs. Expect photos and videos of her up to all kinds of mischief if you choose her.

Kofte
The boy who wants to leave the shelter so badly! Despite this, he has never received an adoption request. Our one-eyed big boy Kofte arrived with us 2 years ago. He had been rescued from the government shelter as a tiny puppy of only 2-3 months old. When he was found in the shelter, his body was shutting down from malnutrition, but he made a miraculous recovery and grew into a healthy, strong giant! We don't know what happened to his right eye, but Kofte doesn't let being one-eyed get in the way of being a happy, excited boy! Kofte is a strong, energetic, playful dog, who would love to spend most of his days exploring.

Marcy
Marcy was abandoned by her previous owner who tied her to our front gate one evening. She has been with us ever since. Marcy is one big bundle of love, who despite her 30kg weight, thinks she is a lap dog! She doesn't have a tail, and has a small tic in her hind legs, so if you look carefully, it looks like she is constantly dancing! Expect photos and videos of her rolling over for belly rubs and cuddles at any opportunity!

Ivar
Ivar and his sister Angie were found abandoned in a building as tiny puppies, likely left behind due to their disabilities. Ivar’s back legs are deformed from birth, but with care and a good diet, he’s grown strong and active. His legs may be crooked, but that doesn’t stop him from running, playing, and zooming around with his doggy friends! He can be a little shy with new people and dogs, but once he feels safe, he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. If you sponsor Ivar, you’ll get joyful updates of this playful, resilient boy living life to the fullest.
