❄ What makes Sarma special: She is shaped like a stuffed vine leaf (‘Sarma’ in Turkish)!
Sarma was rescued out of the government shelter and came into our care in the summer of 2025. She was a big favourite in the government shelter! Usually the shelter workers don’t really engage with the dogs, but Sarma was so full of love and excitement that she managed to charm them! It was actually the shelter staff who asked us to take her and give her a better life.
Sarma is the definition of a cuddle bug. She cannot get enough of human affection, if she could, she would happily spend every waking moment curled up in someone’s arms. Attention is her greatest joy, and she will gently nudge you or look at you with her bright, hopeful eyes until she gets the cuddles she’s dreaming of.
She is also wonderfully social. Sarma absolutely adores people, whether they are familiar friends or brand-new visitors, and greets everyone with her trademark waggle and wagging tail.
Alongside her love of people, Sarma is great with other dogs. She enjoys their company and easily makes new friends within the pack.
One of Sarma’s most relatable traits is that she loves food. This means that she will be easier to train, but her future owner should make sure that she doesn’t overdo it and that she maintains a healthy weight.
Sarma is a truly happy soul: cheerful, affectionate, and endlessly loving. She is ready to bring her sunshine into the life of a family who will shower her with the affection she so deeply craves. Whoever opens their home to Sarma will gain the most loyal and cuddly best friend.
Could you be the one to offer her that home?
Sarma is currently in Turkey and will be ready to travel to the EU/UK from September onwards.
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
