❄ What makes Pasha special: his fluffy face with his gorgeous curly locks!

Pasha was our first rescue of 2024.

Pasha is a dog who clearly had a home before, but he was found wandering the streets all alone, abandoned by his family. He still had his old collar on, but he must have been roaming the streets for a while as he was covered in dirt and mud and his fur was in a terrible state. Luckily he was found by animal lovers, who didn't want him to fall into the wrong hands and brought him to us. Pasha had a small puncture wound in his neck, most likely from a piece of metal on his old collar piercing his skin. The small wound had grown infected and turned into an abscess. His collar had become covered in such a thick layer of caked up pus that we had to cut it off him with a knife.. He probably wouldn't have lasted much longer on the streets without medical intervention..

Despite everything he has been through, Pasha is a cheerful, affectionate dog who adores people! He is so loving and he craves lots of attention and pets. He loves meeting new people and is friendly with everyone. He is also very friendly towards children. Having been abandoned before, Pasha struggled to adapt to live in the enclosure when he first arrived, and would cry whenever we left his kennel. He may experience separation anxiety when he finally has a home again.

Pasha is social towards other dogs, but doesn't actively seek interaction with them. He is much more focused on people than dogs. Pasha does not like cats and becomes very fixated on them once he sees once. It is very difficult to break his concentration once he becomes fixated on a cat. It is likely that Pasha has a prey drive.

Pasha loves getting out of the enclosure to go on walks. He is a very active, energetic dog who loves to go out exploring. He is very confident when out and about, and isn't easily startled or scared. Pasha's favourite thing in the world is going for car rides! He gets very excited whenever he sees a car and will hop straight onto the back seat. He loves sticking his nose out of the window and smelling all the new smells when out for a ride.

This lovely boy really deserves a happy life. Pasha would thrive in a home with a family who can dedicate lots of time to him, and who can take him out on long walks and new adventures.

Could you be the forever family Pasha so longs for?

Pasha is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the EU/the UK.

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
