❄ What makes Choco special: his gorgeous green eyes

This is Choco: he's one year old, but in his mind, he's still a true puppy: full of cheerful, playful, and mischievous puppy energy.

 

Choco came into our care in 2025.

Handsome Choco is a small, young dog, who was trying to survive on the streets all alone. We spotted him by the side of a busy road, lost and confused. He clearly had no idea where to go and where he would be safe... It is highly likely that he had just been dumped there by his family...

When we stopped to check on him, he was so happy to see us! We knew we couldn't abandon him to his fate, so we took him in.

Choco really only wants one thing: to play, play, and then play some more. The more, the better, and for Choco, life is one big party!

 

If he doesn't see any toys, he'll claim one for himself. Anything he can reach is labeled a "toy." Your boots (no, he doesn't mind if you're still wearing them), the sleeve of that comfy sweater, the decor at the local coffee shop... He's an inventive and creative little dog, who clearly still has a lot to learn.

He does all of his mischief with so much joy and enthusiasm, that you can't help but laugh. It's certainly never boring when Choco's around!

 

Choco finds other dogs intimidating at first, and he needs time to feel comfortable. Once he's gets to know the other dog and feels comfortable, he loves playing with them.

He also loves people and wants to be friends with everyone he meets.

Choco loves going for walks. He walks well on a lead and isn't afraid of traffic or new places. He loves to sniff around, and feels like the world is at his feet when he is out and about. He absolutely loves going on new adventures, like going to the local café.
Sitting still isn't his thing; he's constantly on the move and looking for new things to play with, so you do have to keep an eye on him.

Choco is a great option for adopters who want a puppy but also want a rescue dog! He's truly two in one.

Adopters will need to keep in mind that he's still young and that many things are still completely new to him.

 

They'll need to be careful and ensure that, despite his enthusiasm, and his knack for going full steam ahead, he also learns what his own boundaries are, otherwise he may become overstimulated.

Adopters must be ready to bring an adolescent dog home. One who is playfully mischievous and smart, and turns everything into a game. He'll need patience, consistency, and clear boundaries. But if he learns those boundaries from the start with you, and learns how things work in the "adult world," what's acceptable behavior (and what's not), then Choco will be a truly wonderful and cheerful dog who loves to go out with you. Choco is guaranteed to fill your days with laughter. He's a friend for life!

Choco is currently in Turkey and is available for adoption in the UK and the EU.

 

Our dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
