❄ What makes Ray special: Ray is completely blind

Unfortunately we don't know much about poor Ray's past. He was found on the streets by a local animal lover, who realised he was acting odd and stopped to check if he was ok. They quickly realised that Ray is blind. We have no idea how he has survived for this long without being able to see, maybe he had a home before and was abandoned when his care became too much for his family.. Of course, there is no way Ray would have been able to survive on the streets, so the animal lover took him in and asked us for help.

Despite being blind, Ray is a happy dog who has adapted well to his handicap. He is able to find his bed with no issues and loves snoozing on his blanket. He walks well on a lead and likes going out for walks.

Ray is the most affectionate, loyal dog you will ever meet! He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be able to get non-stop cuddles. He gets very excited when he is around people. When he realises there is someone nearby, he will excitedly sniff his way to them and jump in their arms straight away. Once he finds someone to give him the attention he so desperately wants, he wraps his front legs around them and holds on tight, not wanting the person to go away.

Ray gets along well with his kennel mates and enjoys playing with them. When meeting new dogs, Ray is friendly if the other dog is calm and social, but if the other dog growls or barks, Ray instantly feels the need to defend himself.

Nothing would make Ray happier than having a calm, stable home with a loving family who can give him all the non-stop cuddles he so badly wants. You won't find a dog more grateful and loyal than Ray, and his family will be getting the most loving, loyal companion.

Ray is currently in Turkey and is available for adoption in the EU/the UK

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
