❄ What makes Odette special: although she is small and looks delicate, Odette is a fighter! She overcame Distemper all by herself on the streets, without any treatment. As a result of her battle against Distemper, she is missing some teeth and she has enamel hypoplasia, causing her teeth to turn brown
Odette came into our care in the winter of 2023. She was spotted by animal lovers in front of a local super market, where she had been trying to seek shelter from the rain and the cold. Scared, cold and stressed, poor Odette was shaking uncontrollably. The animal lovers who spotted her didn't want to leave her behind, so they asked me for help and we invited her to move in to our enclosure.
The number one thing you need to know about Odette is that she LOVES people! All she wants to do is be held and cuddled. The first thing she does when we arrive in the shelter in the morning is jump into our arms , and she would be happiest if she could stay there all day! She is very friendly towards strangers and loves meeting new people. As long as she can get attention, she is happy!
Odette doesn't like other dogs and life in the shelter is stressful for her. She tries to ignore other dogs as much as she can, and as long as the other dogs leave her alone she is pretty comfortable. But if another dog doesn't leave her alone and invades her personal space, she will communicate that she doesn't want this by growling and/or barking.
Odette is a very confident dog who walks well on the lead and very much enjoys being taken out for walks. Although she isn't very playful, she likes being active and she loves going around exploring new places.
We are looking for a loving home for Odette, where she can be the only dog and get all the attention she so badly wants. She would be very happy to be able to go on frequent long walks with her family, and spend the rest of the day snuggling up on the sofa!

Odette is currently in Turkey and is available for adoption in the EU/the UK
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
