❄ What makes Muffin special: her smile!

Muffin was rescued from the streets as a tiny puppy of only a few months old. Vulnerable and all alone, she had no way of surviving by herself. She had contracted mange and later also came down with Parvo, which is usually deadly for young puppies. Luckily, she was found by a local animal lover, who rescued her and got her treated straight away. Muffin pulled through and grew up with her rescuer, waiting for over a year for someone in Turkey to adopt her. When it was clear that no-one wanted her, her rescuer asked us for help.
 
Muffin is a sweet little girl who is a real diamond in the rough. She has a happy, sweet, playful character, but her fears and anxiety often get in the way of this happy personality coming out. When Muffin feels safe and comfortable, she is a lively, energetic girl who wants lots of cuddles and loves to play. She loves sitting on your lap and getting non-stop pets. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them.
 
Because Muffin grew up seeing very little of the world outside the shelter, she is easily stressed by interactions with new people and situations. She is shy around strangers and it takes a while for her to feel safe enough to let people pet her. She is also very insecure when taken out for walks, as she doesn't know whether she can feel safe with so many new sights and smells around her.
 
All Muffin needs is an adopter who can give her lots of love and patience, and a sense of safety and stability. Once she knows she is safe, she turns into the cutest little girl!
 
By adopting Muffin, you will truly be transforming her life and showing her that she doesn't have to be scared anymore. Helping her build up her self-confidence will take time and patience, but we know that in the right hands this little girl will blossom into a lovely dog!

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
