❄ What makes Marcy special: Marcy doesn't have a tail, and she has a small tic in her hind legs from having had Distemper when she was young. Although the tic is barely noticeable, if you look carefully, it looks like she is constantly dancing!
Marcy was abandoned by her previous owner. We found her tied to the front gate when we arrived in the shelter one morning, her previous owners had snuck up to the shelter and left her there overnight..
Marcy is one big bundle of love, who despite her 30 kg weight, thinks she is a lap dog!
Marcy absolutely adores people. She is very affectionate and she LOVES getting cuddles! Whether it is people she knows or strangers, as soon as someone comes into her kennel, she excitedly runs up to them and tries to get onto their lap for belly rubs! She can't get enough of cuddles and belly rubs, and will excitedly roll around on the floor trying to convince you to give her more.
Marcy gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play with her doggy friends! She does not like cats. She is a confident dog who walks well on the lead, but can pull when she gets excited. She enjoys going out on new adventures.
Marcy is generally an easy-going, obedient dog, but she is strong and energetic, and she would do best in a home where she can have an active life, with people who enjoy doing activities and training with their dog.
She is loving, loyal, intelligent and social and will make a wonderful companion!
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
