❄ What makes Lucy special: Lucy loves water! She will sit in the water buckets and steal them and excitedly run off when they are empty.

Beautiful Lucy was probably bought from a breeder and then given up on once her cute puppy phase was over.. Her family abandoned her and she ended up in the local public shelter. Not used to life in the harsh conditions there, she completely withdrew and became a sad, scared little ball of fur hiding away in the corner. She was bullied by the other dogs in her kennel, and when I spotted her, all I could see was a white little face staring out from the darkest corner in the kennel, whilst the other dogs were barking at her. I couldn't leave her like that, so I took her with me!

Now Lucy has completely transformed into a happy, playful girl.

Lucy is a sweet and social dog. She gets along fantastically with the other dogs in the enclosure, is great with people and happily greets strangers. She walks well on the leash and jumps into the car by herself.

Lucy has a happy character and loves to play. Nothing makes her happier than when she gets a new toy. She will excitedly run off with her new find, pretending to want to hide it from the other dogs, but coming back to show off her new possession if no-one follows her! Lucy has a funny, cheeky side and is sure to provide her family with endless entertainment. She loves stealing the water buckets and hiding them.  She also loves playing with water.

Lucy has severe hip dysplasia. This currently does not cause her much discomfort, and she can walk, run and play without difficulty. However, this could cause her discomfort in the future. Her condition has been discussed with vets in Turkey, the UK and the Netherlands, and all concluded that an operation is not recommended, but supplements may help her.

Lucy is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the UK / the EU.

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
