❄ What makes Devran special: despite having been a victim of severe neglect, Devran is very soft-natured and loves people!
Devran had an owner before, but was severely neglected and was kept in terrible conditions. He was spotted by a passer by, chained up, stuck wedged between a wall and a fence, unable to move and covered in thousands and thousands of ticks. Who knows how long he had been stuck like this without anyone helping.. The passer by also did nothing to intervene, but did share a video on social media with a call for help. That call was answered by local rescuer Funda Haysever , who rushed over in the middle of the night to free Devran. By this time, he was so week , that when they sprung him free, he collapsed on the ground and was unable to move until they gave him some water. He was extremely dehydrated and the thousands of ticks on him had caused anemia.
Luckily all he needed was some TLC to bounce back and turn into a happy, healthy boy!
Looking at Devran, you'd never guess he has had such a traumatic past. This boy is a happy, playful, energetic dog who is full of life! Devran is a soft-natured dog with a sweet temper. He is very gentle and can be a bit hesitant in new situations, but quickly comes out of his shell.
Devran adores people and is very affectionate. He happily greets visitors and always wants lots of cuddles.
Devran is a social dog who loves to play. He spends hours playing with the dogs he shares his kennel with. He is very friendly when meeting new dogs and gets along well with the other dogs in the shelter, but finds interacting with some of the more dominant male dogs in the shelter stressful and doesn't like sharing his food.
Devran walks well on the lead and loves going out for walks and adventures. He is athletic and is an impressive acrobat, there isn't a wall or dog house in the shelter that Devran hasn't managed to climb on top of! Devran would be very happy in a calm, stable home, with a family with an active lifestyle who will take him along on lots of adventures.
Devran is bound to bring lots of happiness and joy to his home. After the neglect he has had to suffer in the past, we hope it will soon be his turn to experience what life in a happy home is like. His family will be getting one of the most loyal, grateful dogs as their new family member! Devra
Devran is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the UK or the EU.
