❄ What makes Bertie special: his moustache!
Bertie was found as a young dog on the streets. Sadly, he wasn’t coping and was hungry and running in the roads so a local street charity placed him into foster care, but unfortunately the carer had to return to the UK and AFOT was asked to help.
Bertie was placed into our care network. Although Bertie lived in a home for three months, so does have some home experience, he currently lives outside in a kennel environment but has a carer who walks him regularly, interacts with him and offers basic training.
This gorgeous, scruffy looking wire haired boy has a wonderful personality. He’s playful, has a good temperament and being only two years old (Dec 2023) he is full of energy and plays energetically wanting to be boss but will happily submit to stronger dogs and behave well with them. Bertie is full of fun & loves playing with his friends.
This handsome boy will bring lots of joy to his family, all he needs is for someone to open their home to him!
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
