❄ What makes Banou special: Banou is a huge dog with a big baby face!

Banou was found all alone on the streets crying out in fear, with no-one to look after her or protect her. She was lucky enough to be found by animal lovers, who knew she had no chance of surviving on her own and asked us for help.

Banou was just a baby, and instead of having the happy, carefree start to life that every dog deserves, she had already had to experience the fear and danger of living on the streets.. Thankfully she was found on time, and she grew up safely in our enclosure.

Banou is a sweet girl who is growing into a gentle giant. She is very friendly and has a happy character. She is great with people and loves getting cuddles and attention. She is very friendly towards strangers.

Banou is generally a quiet dog, but she does have a very playful side. She loves playing with water and getting up to mischief in the shelter!

Banou loves other dogs and spends much of her time playing with her friends in the shelter. She gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. She is also friendly towards cats.

​

Banou grew up in the shelter, so has seen very little of the world outside the enclosure. This sometimes makes her a bit insecure in new situations, but she adapts well and learns quickly. She walks well on the lead, although she can sometimes be a bit apprehensive.

Banou is an adolescent dog, and her adopters should expect lots of playful, mischievous behaviour, but with her quiet demeanour and sweet, loving personality, we know she will make all the mischief worth it!

​

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
