❄ What makes Queenie special: her pink nose!

Queenie came into our care in the spring of 2024.

We know that Queenie had a home before and that her name was Pamuk, but we don't know anything about the conditions she was kept in, or why she was abandoned. She ended up in the government shelter, where she waited for months to be adopted. Every time someone would visit, she would happily run up to the fence, full of hope that she would finally find her forever family, but nobody wanted her.. We saw how desperately she wanted a home, and we couldn't leave her behind.

Queenie is an energetic, playful dog who is full of mischief and joy. She struggles in the crowded, chaotic enclosure, and so deserves a loving home!

Queenie is an easy-going dog who is generally confident and adapts well to new situations. She walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for walks. She interacts well with people, both strangers and people she knows. She is always happy to get some cuddles, but also likes to be able to go about doing her own thing and doesn't need constant attention.

There is never a dull moment with Queenie, and she can be a little whirlwind. She is very playful and loves nothing more than zooming up and down the enclosure playing with the other dogs. She loves playing with toys and is a pretty skilled football player, happily chasing a tennis ball all around the enclosure! Queenie can be pretty mischievous, and her favourite game is dropping a toy right in front of another dog and then trying to steal the toy from them when they pick it up.

Queenie would thrive in a home with an active family. She needs a stable routine so she can feel safe and secure, but would love being able to go out on lots of adventures. She would love having an energetic, playful dog to share her home with, or would also be very content as an only dog. We would love to see this little girl be able to leave the enclosure, so she can live life to the fullest!

Queenie is currently in Turkey, and is ready to travel to the EU / the UK.

Our dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
