❄ What makes Pari special: when Pari is excited, she gets up on her back legs and dances!
Pari came in to our care in the winter of 2023.
Sweet Pari is a small dog of only 12 kg , and she was all alone, having to fend for herself on the streets.. She was trying to live outside a restaurant, hoping to survive by feeding off scraps of food that were thrown out, but the restaurant staff didn't want her there. They constantly tried to chase her away by scaring her and even tried to kick her on multiple occassions. When an animal lover saw this and tried to stand up for Pari, this resulted in a big argument with the restaurant staff. Knowing they wouldn't leave her alone and that Pari wasn't safe there, the animal lover took Pari in and asked us for help. We couldn't turn Pari down, so she moved in to the Melez enclosure.
Pari is a sweet, cheerful dog who is full of life. She has so much love to give!
Even though people haven't always been kind to Pari, she still loves humans. She can be a little shy at first, but quickly comes out of her shell and gets so excited when she realises she is going to get cuddles! When she sees that someone is coming over to give her attention, she excitedly puts up her paws and stands on her hind legs enthusiastically wagging her tail and wiggling her bum!
When taken out of her kennel for walks, Pari is happy and excited and eager to explore, but she can also be nervous and is easily started. She walks well on the lead, but can behave anxiously when she feels insecure. Her adopters will have to work with her to build her self-confidence, so she can learn that she doesn't have to feel threatened by unexpected noises or movements when out and about.
Meeting new dogs can be a bit stressful for Pari and she can be hesitant, and anxious at first, but after calm introductions, she quickly becomes friends with the other dog. She enjoys playing with the dogs in her kennel, but does try to keep to herself in the busy, chaotic environment of the shelter.
Pari is very athletic and can run and jump like no other! You will rarely see Pari on the floor in her kennel, she is always on top of one of the dog houses!
Pari has a heart of gold and we would love to see her happy in a home. Nothing makes little Pari happier than human attention and she would be so happy to finally have a family of her own.. Pari would thrive in a calm, stable home, where she can spend lots of time with her family, and can get all the cuddles and reassurance she craves.

Pari is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the EU/the UK.
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
