❄ What makes Linda special: Her brown eye patch and her furry ears!​

Linda came into our care in the spring of 2025.

Unfortunately we don't know anything about Linda's past and whether she had a home before and was abandoned or whether she grew up as a stray.. We suspect she might have had a home before, because she is such a sweet, innocent, loving little girl! It is difficult to imagine her having to fight for survival on the streets.

Poor Linda ended up in a government shelter in the North of Turkey. She was stuck in a cold, barren kennel with no hope of ever being able to leave.. Local rescuers spotted her and saw how desperately she wanted to to be saved. They reached out to us and we couldn't turn down their call for help. Linda is such a sweetheart and she has so much love to give - she deserved so much better than the bleak fate that was awaiting her in there..

Linda adapted to life in the Melez enclosure with ease and quickly became a beloved member of the Melez pack.

With her sweet character and soft nature, Linda is a very special dog. She is an easy-going, uncomplicated dog, who never causes a fuss.

Linda is a very social dog who gets along with all the other dogs in the enclosure. She can be a little submissive towards other dogs, but she isn't scared of them. She has a playful side and enjoys playing with her friends, but she is calmer than most of the Melez dogs and spends much of her time lying in a quiet corner watching the other dogs play. When a new dog is introduced to the pack, Linda is friendly and calmly greets the other dog.

Linda adores people and although she is perfectly happy in the Melez pack, she really comes to life when there are people in the enclosure. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is very gentle when asking for attention and will put her front paws on you and lovingly stare into your eyes! She is also very friendly towards strangers and loves getting pets from everyone she meets.

Outside of the enclosure, Linda is a confident dog who walks well on the lead. She enjoys going for walks and isn't easily spooked or intimidated. She would enjoy being able to go on long walks with her family, but doesn't need hours of running every day.

This special girl has so much love to give! With her sweet, trusting nature and cheerful character, she is ready to prove anyone who thinks that all stray dogs are traumatised wrong!

Linda is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the EU/the UK

​

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
