❄ What makes Jack special: his beautiful brown eye patch!
Jack came into our care in the Spring of 2024.
Little Jack was found all alone by the side of a busy road. We think he had a home before and was abandoned, because he was very confused and absolutely terrified.. It is possible that his owner abandoned him by the side of the road so that they could easily drive off and Jack wouldn't be able to follow them or find his way home. Luckily, he was spotted by an animal lover who stopped to help him. Realising he wouldn't be able to survive for long by himself, his rescuer asked us to take him in.
There is never a dull moment with Jack around! Jack is a lively boy who is playful, inquisitive, and a little mischievous. Jack has many of the character traits of a Jack Russell. He is intelligent and is good at problem solving. He is very athletic and he can jump and climb impressive heights. He loves going out for walks, following his nose, and discovering new places and smells. He is very suited to an active lifestyle with lots of adventures and he would enjoy doing agility courses.
Jack is a social dog who gets along well with other dogs, although he prefers females over other males. He has a few girlfriends in his kennel that he spends much of his time playing with. He is very friendly towards people and loves meeting new people. He is very calm and laid-back around children.
Jack does not like cats and is reactive towards them.
Jack's ideal home would be with an active family who can take him on lots of long walks and new adventures, and can make sure he is both physically and mentally stimulated. With his cheerful character and friendly nature, he is sure to be a very loyal companion to his family!
Jack is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the UK or the EU.
The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
