❄ What makes Fritzi special: the asymmetric white markings on her nose​

Fritzi came into our care in the spring of 2024. 
Little Fritzi was found on the streets in the industrial area of the city. This part of the city has packs of large, territorial stray dogs, who have been known to kill smaller dogs that enter their territory before.. A local animal lover spotted her and immediately realised how much danger she was in. They asked us for help, and we couldn't turn this poor girl down.

Fritzi is a soft-natured, shy little girl who is very submissive towards people.

When she feels comfortable, Fritzi is an energetic, happy girl who is very playful can be quite mischievous! She happily zips around her kennel playing with toys and other dogs and is always very happy and excited to see us. When Fritzi isn't sure whether she is safe, for example when out for walks, she is shy and quiet and is easily startled. Fritzi walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for walks in calm areas, but loud noises and crowds scare her and when she gets scared, she freezes and lies flat on the ground. If approached when she is feeling nervous, she will immediately roll around and show you her belly.

Even when she is feeling scared, Fritzi's love for people is very strong. Fritzi adores people and when she is feeling nervous, she looks towards people for support and comfort. She loves being held and will cling to you like a baby when she is feeling insecure. If someone makes a sudden move towards her, she will lie on the floor and show you her belly straight away.

Fritzi can be a little insecure and nervous around new dogs, but is social towards other dogs once she gets to know them. She loves playing with the other dogs in her kennel.

Fritzi needs a calm, quiet home with patient, loving adopters who can help her to slowly build up her self confidence. She will be the happiest girl in the world once she has a forever family!

Fritzi is currently in Turkey and is available for adoption in the UK and the EU.

 

Our dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
